Phoenix Heroes CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in Colchester, UK, dedicated to supporting veterans through outdoor activities.
Established in 2018 by Gary Stockton, a former British Army veteran with 22 years of service, the organisation has grown into a well-respected provider of veteran support across the UK.
They offer a range of activities including fishing, football, and allotment gardening, creating opportunities for veterans to reconnect with nature, build friendships, and foster a strong sense of community. Their mission is to ease the transition from military to civilian life by helping veterans overcome challenges, develop a renewed sense of purpose, and strengthen their overall well-being.
In addition to promoting physical and mental health through outdoor engagement, they also provide vital support for those experiencing difficulties with mental health or struggling to adjust after leaving the Armed Forces. At Phoenix Heroes, they are committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where veterans can find belonging, purpose, and fulfilment.
